Boards and components for Do-It-Yourself
Also we can offer some PCB's from our old and closed projects, temporary and test boards, raw or assembled.
SPDIF To USB Input Interface
Coaxial or Optical (Toslink) inputs, selected by switch.
Any input sample rate (44.1-192kHz) is converted by ASRC (AK4137) and transmitted to PC as 96/24 using UAC1 transfer. No drivers required.
TTConv.
SPDIF-TOSLINK, TOSLINK-SPDIF converter, i.e., coaxial-to-optical and optical-to-coaxial.
This is a universal board that can be soldered in two versions. Depending on which version is used, different components are installed. (Some components are common to both versions.)
The converter is powered by a LiPo battery, and the board includes a charger with indicator leds. A micro-USB port, which supplies 5V, is used for charging.
Current consumption is 10 to 15mA (depends of a sample rate), which, with the 300mAh battery I used, will give at least 20 hours of operation.
The battery can be glued to the top with double-sided tape, or, as in the photo, secured with double-sided adhesive tape (Kapton, etc.).
Three indicator LEDs: one for power and two for charging status ("charging" and "already charged").
SN74LVC1G125 can be used instead of 1G04.
